Here’s a quick trip report of our 96 hour mini-vaca to Manila..
Me and my Air Force buddies JC and Ricker decided that it would be a good idea to hop over to Manila from Korea to see the sights and sounds as well as visit family and friends.
To get there, I used 25k Delta Skymiles for each of us to fly with the Korean Air Incheon-Manila non-stop. Since this flight normally costs over $800, this was a great redemption! I booked an airport hotel the day before the flight so that we can make the morning flight much easier.
Upon arrival, JC was met by his family and him and Ricker went to Divisoria to explore the shopping. That night, we met back up and visited the Mall of Asia for dinner. Our flight to Boracay was at 0400 hundred in the morning so after some drinks, we headed over to the airport
Rooms were sold out so we had to stay in two separate hotels. Since it is their first time in Bora, we explored what the island had to offer.
The next day, I convinced them to try SCUBA diving with me and Rac. They offered beginner courses for them so me and Rac just jumped in to join their class.
After SCUBA, we went on a short island hopping tour. We had seafood lunch at this spot.
When we got back to Manila the next day, we were dead tired but we had less than a day left so we decided to go out with a bang. Met up with some friends for some drinks!
This was definitely an epic trip. Corey even asked why in the hell I would want to leave this place. :))
