Since we had a 3 day Memorial day weekend, me and my friends decided to explore Southern Italy with NikkiTours.
Our first stop was Pompeii and it took us over 10 hours to get there by bus. We visited the ruins and learned about the history of this ancient civilization.
We then headed over to our hotel in Sorrento where we checked-in and dropped our bags. We proceeded to go to the island of Capri by ferry and took a cruise around the island.
That night, we also explored what the city of Sorrento had to offer. We had dinner and some drinks at a local bar.
The next day, we woke up early since we were going to see the Amalfi Coast. After a quick and bumpy ferry ride, we got to the city of Positano. From here, we took the bus and explored Amalfi.
We got back later that night. We wanted to explore the city of Sorrento some more but we were too tired so we just grabbed a quick dinner at a local resto. The next day, we departed Sorrento and headed back to Aviano.
All in all, an awesome trip! It truly amazes me all the things that Italy has to offer. Each place has it’s unique charm and rich history.
