And so the much awaited day finally arrives.
This latest trip holds a very special place in my heart as I am finally coming home to marry Rac! 🙂
We will have our special day in a beautiful beach resort in the Philippines but more on that later. To get back home, I was going to just buy a regular ticket for myself but figured this was the perfect opportunity to burn some miles and go home in style!
After researching possible routes and airlines, I came up with:
Venice-Brussels-Frankfurt (stopover)
Frankfurt-Incheon-Manila (destination)
On the return I booked Rac and myself:
Manila-Bangkok-Frankfurt
Frankfurt-Zurich-Venice
All flights for both of us are in First/Business class. 🙂
The day finally arrives and my good friend Mark drops me and Julian at the airport.
Check-in was uneventful and shortly after, I was waiting for my flight to Brussels, Belgium via Brussels Airlines. I didn’t even bother to visit the airline lounges in Venice as it was so early and all I wanted to do was sleep.
Arrived in Belgium on time and headed straight to the lounge to grab a drink. The next flight was with Lufthansa.
The flight attendants were nice and the meal was delicious!
Arrived in Frankfurt on time where our friend Brandon was going to pick us up.
Next stop, Luxembourg!
