Here’s a quick recap of our day trip to experience the famous Christmas markets in Salzburg, Austria.
Me and Rac went with a bunch of people from work so it was only 20 euro a person for the bus. For a five-hour bus ride each way, this was really cheap.

We left Aviano at around six in the morning. Fortunately, my boss saved me and Rac the best seat in the house.

As soon as we got there, we hunted for a place to eat. I don’t know what it is, but a lot of times when we travel, we crave the weirdest types of cuisine. This time, we wanted either Japanese or Vietnamese and sure enough, we found this awesome Pho House near the city center.

We decided to explore the city afterwards and ended up going inside St. Peter’s Abbey, Salzburg Museum as well as Mozart’s house. Both attractions had an entrance fee of 10 euro per person.

We wanted to do the Sound of Music walking tour but we missed it by 30 minutes. Oh well, that gives us a reason to come back.
We went back to the square were the shops were selling all sorts of Christmas trinkets and treats. We had the traditional weiners and warm red wine.

Soon after, it was time to head back to the bus stop for our ride back. A quick but eventful day at Salzburg!
