Our first stop for our Bali Honeymoon is Amanusa. Our personal chauffeur was waiting outside the airport to take us on our 20-minute ride to the resort.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks as the Aman staff took care of our luggage and paperwork. As soon as we arrived we knew that this hotel stay will be nothing like we’ve ever experienced before. We felt like guests in someones house instead of clients in a big hotel.
Shortly after, they led us to our beautiful villa..

Needless to say, our villa was amazing! All the details really set this place apart. They put white flags outside our room since we were on our honeymoon. They also filled the tub with rose petals for us. After getting settled, we headed out to explore the rest of the resort.
Afterwards, we decided to get some lunch at the restaurant.
We headed to the pool area and  lounged as they served us snacks and drinks.
We then took the hotel car to go to the beach resort. It was a short ride and we were in Pink Beach in no time!
We returned to our villa and dressed up to go to dinner in Nusa Dua. Aman offers free transfers to the city center so we had them drop us off in Nusa Dua. We decided to explore and we ended up getting a massage from one of the many establishments. After the massage, we were ready for dinner. We chose the restaurant because of the live Balinese dancers.
After our sumptuous feast, we decided to head back. The restaurant offered to bring us back to the hotel which was nice touch. After chatting with the Aman staff for a bit, we decided to call it a night.
The next day, we woke up really early and had breakfast by the beach. This is where Aman sets itself apart from other luxury resorts. They just cater to whatever you wish and they make everything look so seamless. They don’t normally offer breakfast by the beach but they were more than happy to accomodate our request. After breakfast, we went snorkeling and enjoyed the water.
Afterwards, we went back to the room to get ready for our traditional Hindu blessing. They dressed us up in traditional clothes as we experienced this unique ritual.
After the ritual, it was almost time for check-out. Aman offers free intra-resort transfer as well and our chauffeur served as our tour guide as we stopped by several interesting places before arriving in Ubud, home of Amandari.
