The next stop on our Bali Honeymoon is Amandari which was situated in Ubud. The resort is a nice change of pace from the other resorts in Bali that are usually by the beach. Amandari is unique as it offers amazing views of the famous rice terraces of Ubud.
The Aman staff once again warmly welcomed us and showed us our villa which had an amazing view of the rice terraces below.
Again, the details of the resort really set it apart..
Afterwards, we decided to explore the resort..
We also got our free massages as well as ate dinner at the restaurant.
Afterwards, we asked the desk if we can get dropped off in Ubud so we can see what the small town had to offer.
We returned to the resort shortly after as we had some activities planned for the next day. We started our day early with a breakfast feast in our room!
We scheduled white water rafting on the Ayung river for this day. This wasn’t part of our original plan, but we decided that we couldn’t pass up this opportunity. Glad we did it as it was a lot of fun! The rafting tour included lunch and transfers. Aman offers a wide variety of tours and excursions as they partner up with locals to provide guests with amazing experiences.

Soon enough, it was time to check-out and head to our next destination. Amandari really left an impression on us. The staff treated us like royalty and the overall ambience of the resort was amazing.
