Monte Carlo, Monaco.

From Nice, we drove about 30 mins to reach our accomodations in Beausoleil, France. The apartments were located at the border of Monaco. It’s worth noting that hotels/apartments just right outside Monaco provide the best deals since they are half the price of the hotels inside this ultra-rich country. We booked two apartments in Adagio Monaco Palais Josephine. We were pleasantly surprised how nice the apartments are. They are very spacious and even included a kitchen area if you wanted to save money and cook.

We dropped our bags and set out to explore the small country. We visited Le Metropole Shopping Center, one of the malls in the center of the city. It was very unique as almost everything was high-end and the mall looked more like a hotel! Since it was still raining, we decided to kill some time and watch a movie at one of the movie theaters.

We also caught our first glimpse of the Monte Carlo Casino!

After the movie, we went outside and finally, the weather has cleared up. We headed back to our apartments where we stumbled upon a very nice Indian resto where we decided to have dinner.

Great food at this Indian resto.

Filled up, we went back to the apartment to freshen up and get ready to set out for the night. All dressed up, we headed to the famous Monte Carlo Casino!

The building was nicely lit up at night. We spent an hour as most of us lost some money but it was all about the experience! Next, we went to Buddha bar next door for some drinks. We even splurged and got bottle service! After getting our drinks on, it was getting pretty late so we decided to call it a night and head back to the hotel.

We woke up early the next day to take advantage of the nice weather and we visited the Prince’s Palace. It was on top of a hill so we had to hike a little bit to get there but it was well worth it. The view of the French Riviera form up there was amazing!

After snapping some pictures and enjoying the view, it was time to head back. It took us about 45 mins to get back to the airport where we dropped our rental car off and waited for our flight back to Venice. Overall, we had an amazing time in Monaco. The country has a lot to offer there’s a lot of other things and attractions to visit so we will definitely be back sometime!

Here are some more pictures!
