Our first stop in our latest European adventure is Zurich, Switzerland!
We had a long layover so we decided to check out the sights and sounds of the city. Our Swiss Air flight from Venice arrived on time and we quickly found the metro that would take us to Zurich HB, which is the city center. It was about 11 euro for a roundtrip ticket and it only takes less than 15 minutes to get there from the ZRH airport.
We walked around and the city and headed over to Lake Zurich where we saw the Fraumunster and Grossmunster among other attractions.
Just before midnight, we boarded the last train back to the airport to catch some rest before our early flight the next morning.
Overall, a short but fascinating visit in Zurich!

you should have spent at least two nights in Zürich to get more than just a glimpse of it, it is lovely in summer 🙂
