Another long weekend, another adventure. This time, we will be heading to the French Riviera! Trip planning started when we found out the the Gilas Pilipinas basketball team would be playing in an invitational tournament in Antibes, France. I quickly invited my fellow basketball junkie friends and the trip evolved from just watching the games to seeing what the rest of the French Riviera has to offer.
On this trip, I booked our accommodations through Airbnb and stayed in a small apartment in the heart of Nice, France. We could’ve flown to Nice but figured it would be better driving the 7-hour route as we can also visit other cities in the French Riviera.
We ended up visiting Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Genoa in our little road trip. Not bad for a three day weekend! We’ve been to these cities before but it was still nice to visit some areas that we didn’t explore the last time around.
