As said in previous posts, we initially planned this trip to watch a basketball tournament in Antibes, France. With some research, we quickly figured out that we can turn our little basketball trip into a French Riviera sightseeing adventure!
Now, we’ve been to the French Riviera before but it’s always nice to go back and explore certain places some more. We chose Nice as our home base and found an apartment in the middle of the city center. Nice provided the perfect base as it is in the center of the other attractions in the area.
The next day, we explored Cannes during the day and Monte Carlo at night. On the way home, we stopped by the Italian city of Genoa to check out the Acquario di Genoa, the second largest aquarium in Europe.
Overall, it was a crazy fun weekend with good friends. Having limited vacation time, these weekend trips really hit the spot for travel junkies!
