Before Hilton devalued their points program, we had to pick a property where we where going to spend our HHonor points. We originally picked Bora Bora but realized how hard it was to get there on miles. In the end, we decided to book Hilton Seychelles for 8 nights and 340k HHonor points. The booking provided great value as the hotel was charging upwards of 500 euro a night.
The location of the hotel is nice, being so close to the Beau Vallon area in the Northwest part of Seychelles. It meant that we could easily venture out of the hotel if we got bored or wanted somewhere new to eat.
The design of the villas were rustic and really gave guests the island feel. We spent a lot of of our time just relaxing in our villa. The resort also had private beaches which were our favorite places to hang out! We also tried some of the hotel amenities like their Spa and 5-star restaurant. The breakfast spread was OK but nothing amazing.
The service in the resort was hit or miss to say the least. There were exceptional employees in the property but there were also some that was just there to get a paycheck. Overall, it’s a step below other 5-star properties we’ve stayed in but definitely still good service.
All in all, our stay in the property was great. Everything about the villas were great and although the service and amenities were not perfect, it was more than what we needed.
