Cape Town, South Africa.

Wow, just wow. There are few places in the world that just leave us speechless but I am happy to say that Cape Town is one of them. I mean, the city is just.. amazing!

Everywhere we went, the views were amazing, the food scene was great and cheap and everyone we met were oh so friendly!

Once we landed in Cape Town, we took a cab to our hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton where we luckily got upgraded to an enormous suite! Great way to start our visit!

We quickly got something to eat and grabbed the hotel shuttle to VA Waterfront where we explored the sights until it was time to go back to the hotel.

Our next stay would start early (0400!) as we were going Great White Shark Diving! It was a 2 1/2 hour drive to Gansbaii where we will be diving with Great Whites! We got so close to the sharks and learned a lot about them. The experience was definitely something else and highly recommended. On the way back, our driver dropped us off in the Cape Town city center where we luckily stumbled upon a group of tourist ready to go on a walking tour. We quickly bought our tickets and toured the colorful Indo-Malay areas of the city with them. After the walking tour, we boarded the Hop-on Hop-off bus to check out the rest of the city center and transferred to another bus for the night tour. The night tour brought us all the way up to signal hill for amazing sunset views of Cape Town. The bus dropped us off at the Waterfront where we stumbled upon JoSeMe comedy house. It just so happened that the show was about to start in 5 minutes. We went in and was fortunate enough to get seated close to the stage where we shared a the table with a local table. Another great experience as we learned more about Cape Town both from the couple and the comedians! Haha. If there was anything like a perfect travel day, we just had it. Everything fell into place and we just lucked out with the timing of everything!

For day two, we booked a full day tour of Cape Point, the most south-western point of the African Continent:

Cape Point gave us scenic views and there was a sense of awe as it felt like we were at the tip of the world. After the tour, we decided to go back to the waterfront to explore and have dinner. We decided to get matching bracelets that had African themed pendants for our souvenirs!

We had nothing planned for our last day but really wanted to explore more so we booked the same driver to help us explore more of this city. We went to a cheetah rehab farm and a winery where they had lions, leapords and other animals. It was like a mini african safari! We also had amazing wine and met some interesting people.

Overall, an unforgettable stay in an amazing. We promise and spend more time when we go back!
