Vigan, Ilocos Sur!

After spending two full days in the beach town of Pagudpud, it was time to head back to Manila. But first, we were stopping by the world-famous city of Vigan, Ilocos Sur!

And what better way to tour this beautiful city than riding the traditional kalesa!

We visited numerous tourist attractions as we just enjoyed exploring the town. Our guides took us to Bantay Bell Tower, Hidden Garden, St. Paul Cathedral and Baluarte as well as other spots.

The tour ended when the kalesas dropped us off in the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is Calle Crisologo, a throwback street from the Spanish Colonial times.

We ended the trip by doing some last-minute shopping in the famous street and having lunch at Café Leona, the very popular resto that serves the best “Bagnet” in town!

Gotta say, Café Leona was kinda pricey but the food, especially the Bagnet was top notch!

The sumptuous meal was a perfect way to end this amazing trip with both our families. While myself and Rac usually always travel with other people, it’s much more special to be traveling with our families from back home!

Here are the rest of the pictures!
