Naples, Pompeii & The Amalfi Coast.

Since our time in Italy is winding down, we decided it was high time to explore some more attractions in this beautiful country. Our next adventure took us to Naples, Italy since we had to go to the US Embassy there. We took advantage of this opportunity to visit different attractions around the area.

We could have driven 10+ hours to get down to Naples but decided that taking a cheap flight then renting a car was the way to go. We booked our lodging in a nice affordable 3-star hotel near the city center.

For our first night, we decided to try the world-famous pizza from Naples and with some research headed to this spot..

The place only offered two types of pizzas and we chose one with tomato sauce and mozzarella but it satisfied our cravings.

The next two days, we decided to explore more and headed to Pompeii to see the ruins. I’ve visited Pompeii before but it was worth going again as they just excavated more exhibits of humans frozen in time shortly after the volcanic eruption.

After Pompeii we headed to the Amalfi Coast to see the beautiful views..

It was a lot of driving but the scenery and the views were amazing so it made for amazing road trips.

For our last day, we visited a nearby Navy Base to do some shopping and then headed back to the airport to get ready for our next destination. Stay tuned!
