New York, New York!

It’s not often that we get super excited about traveling to certain cities but this was different. We we’re finally going to visit New York!

From Baltimore, we took a quick 1-hour flight to JFK. The view from the descent was spectacular.

From JFK, we took the AirTran and subway to get to our hotel in Park Avenue, The Waldorf Astoria.

The Hyatt lobby was impressive!

After checking in, we quickly headed out to explore the attractions near us. We visited St. Patricks Cathedral, Rockefeller Building, Radio City Music Hall, Times Square & Grand Central Station! We also tried out Five Guys burgers and bought discounted tickets for Les Miserables that night.

After the show, we met up with our good friend RC who showed us around the city some more. We ended up eating at The Halal Guys food stand and the beef with rice was amazingggg.

The next day, we started our day with a visit to Central Park!

We then visited Ground Zero and went inside the museum..

We spent the rest of the day checking out the different sights of the city. We visited Wall Street, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building and Rucker Park!

Fortunately, it was a Friday and the Museum of Modern Arts (MOMA) was offering free tickets! Score!

We met up with RC for dinner at this amazing ramen house. Afterwards, we went back to Times Square to watch Lion King!

The show was as good as advertised! After the show, we walked back to the hotel and called it a night since we had an early flight the next day.

Overall, New York is definitely a place that we would not only want to visit again but a place where we can see ourselves living in someday.
