For my parents second weekend, we decided to visit Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia.
Our first stop was the Ljubljana castle which is perched atop the capital city.
Next, we explored the Ljubljana town center..
For our accommodations, we booked rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton Zagreb which is one of my favorite Doubletrees in Europe.
We also explored Zagreb city center that night!
The next day, we just did some souvenir shopping and drove back to Italy. It was a short but easy way to explore two countries in one weekend!
