Day six.
Our last day in Barcelona.
We were back in La Rambla, but this time our goal was to experience La Boqueria, one of Europe’s most famous public markets.

It was a true buffet for all senses. We wanted to taste everything in sight. And we tried a lot–chocolate covered almonds and macadamia nuts, fruit shakes, fish and chips, cheese and prosciutto, oysters and all sorts of skewered goodies.
Outside of La Boqueria, we found some street musicians. My son had no qualms about dancing to an unfamiliar tune.

We took our last stroll in La Rambla, picked up some churros and set off for Park Guell.
Karen and I were supposed to take a quick tour inside Park Guell, but there was just too much to see. We feasted in Catalan artist Gaudi’s works, and also visited his residence of twenty years.
Next stop, Francia!
