After our visit back home, we headed to Las Vegas! We would be meeting up with my business partner as well as explore everything Vegas had to offer.
While I’ve been to Vegas countless of times, it was nice to spend more than a weekend here as we were staying for close to a week. It was also Rac’s first time in Vegas so I wanted to give really show her the strip and experience the shows.
We ended up watching MJ live and Boyz to Men!
Additionally, I will be attending Frequent Traveler University which is a 3-day event that is all about miles and points. I’ve always wanted to go to one of these gatherings and fortunately, the timing worked out this time. More on that on a separate post.
To get around, we ended up getting a rental car, even rented out a Camaro for a couple of days! For our accommodations, I booked a night at the DoubleTree Hilton Las Vegas Airport Hotel and then 4 nights at the Luxor. I used Hilton points for our DoubleTree stay and I used my Citi Prestige card to book our stay at the Luxor which meant that I get the 4th night free!
We also made some trips to some sneaker and lifestyle stores to see how they operate and to give us more insight in how to run our business back home.
We also went to one of the largest food fairs in the country!
Spent some quality time with good friends. Interestingly, a lot of our close friends are from the Vegas area!
All in all, a very nice productive vacation! It’s rare that we can mix business and pleasure but this trip provided just that! Can’t wait to go back!
