For our Sydney accommodations, we decided to splurge and book the Park Hyatt Sydney!
We used 30,000 Hyatt points for each night. The paid rates we’re around $1,000 so this was definitely a good redemption.
We had really high expectations for the property as it is widely regarded as one of the best Park Hyatts out there. For our Diamond welcome amenity, we chose a bottle of champagne.
One thing that really stands out about the property is its location. Ideally situated by The Rocks, the hotel sits at the edge of the harbor with an amazing view of the Sydney Opera House.
The service throughout the hotel was a step below other Park Hyatts we’ve visited. The aspect that really disappointed us was the food. If was just a notch below what we’ve grown to expect out of Park Hyatts.
Maybe it was partly our fault since we set our expectations so high but aside from the location, the hotel, in our opinion, did not live up to expectations.
