For our short visit to Costa Rica, we stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Cariari. For this review, we’ve decided to change things up and grade the property on four different categories!
Room: 6/10. The room was well-appointed although we would’ve liked the floors to be carpeted. The room also had a nice view of the pool area.
Amenities: 6/10. Gotta love the Doubletree signature cookies. This hotel would benefit from a shuttle service to the airport similar to what other Doubletree’s offer. The breakfast spread was also nice.
Location: 7/10. This hotel is perfect for a layover but it is quite far from the city center.
Overall Value: 7/10. At $120, the hotel provided great value. Hotels in San Jose are quiet pricey and it was nice to stay in a Hilton property for this price.
