Foz do Iguazu, Brazil.

Iguazu Falls may be the star of Foz do Iguaçu, but there is certainly a lot more that this city has to offer.

Being part of the tri-national region with Argentina and Paraguay, it is no surprise that this city boasts of cultural diversity.

After our amazing experience in Iguazu Falls, Jose gave us a tour around the city where we visited the Buddhist Temple, Islamic Mosque, Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazu, a local mall (because we wanted fried chicken), and Artesanato & Chocolate Caseiro where the thick hot chocolate is a must try.

Our go to spot was Avenida Brasil where we ate some amazing street food and gorged ourselves in churrascarias!

Another must do when in Iguacu is the Rafain Churrascaria Dinner & Show. We ended our stay by watching this South American show featuring 8 Latin countries! Truly an entertaining experience that allows you a glimpse of cultural diversity in this part of the world.

The Iguaçuenses are one of the friendliest people we’ve encountered. Each one of them helped to make our stay in Brazil truly memorable. We will be back to explore the rest of Brazil!
