After our short stay back home in Manila, it was time to pack our bags again and this time we’re headed to Bali, Indonesia. Bali is a place we hold dear to our heart as we had our honeymoon here 4 years ago.
To get there, we flew EVA Air with a connection in Taipei. We we’re lucky enough to get exit row seats. We also killed some time in the lounges using our Priority Pass membership.
Upon arrival in Bali, we found out that they are not charging the $10 visa fee for short stays anymore. We got a taxi, and headed to our hotel. We asked the taxi to wait for us as we dropped our bags because we wanted to catch the sunset and show in Uluwatu Temple. After getting a quick bite, we set off to Uluwatu.
The views we’re beautiful and it was truly an amazing show. They performed a Kecak & Fire dance while depicting the story of Ramayana. The human vocals throughout the performance was really cool.
After, we headed over to Jimbaran for some seafood by the beach. Coincidentally, we ended up eating in the same restaurant we went to four years ago!
After dinner we headed back to the hotel as we had a big day ahead. Stay tuned for more!
